Making my own *Happy Card*...

This week, after visiting a few of my favorite blogs, Ive learned that many people share the same feelings.  We all basically want to be happy people.  Some of us may have burdens that seem too much to handle.  Others may retreat to their own quiet place to reflect and gather some inner strength to go on.  In the scheme of it all, we are all just people.  We are all here for such a short time, really.  We just never know when that time will be up.
Meanwhile, I thought about pulling out 10 pictures for my file that really just make me happy.  I would like to share them with you..

This picture of my Mom always makes me smile..I love how the camera was able to capture this perfectly innocent young girl with her whole life waiting ahead.  This was before she had any idea that she
would actually give birth to 5 children.   Kids that would drive her nuts at times!

This picture of my motorcycle that I took on a weekend trip with some girlfriends.  We had a really good time and I felt as free as the wind.

This one of Mickey standing at our little camp one early summer morning at Lake Eufaula.  It was just us with our dog, Bob.  We fished and ate and sat around and it was perfect.

This one of Marley shortly after she got settled into life with us after spending the majority of her life in a cage in a puppy mill.  I love how this picture shows the trust and love in her eyes.  She had come a long way baby..

And this..My grandmother.  She was demonstrating how eating healthy food would make you strong and grow powerful muscles.  She was showing this to my grandchildren.  You cannot imagine how powerful this moment was to me.  Sitting with my grandmother with my own grandchildren. Who wudda thunk it?

The JOY I have experienced raising my animals.  I wouldn't trade it..

My life being a Grandmother has been more than I could have ever imagined it possibly would be.  These little children keep my heart beating and my soul alive...
This alone would be enough to make me happy, happy, happy.....
This picture of my grandmothers house just makes me feel good.  This is my childhood.  This is where love lives.  All in this one little house...

But what about ME?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok...!!  Twelve pictures!!  And just what would life be without this furry one?

I honestly cant imagine...

So when I'm feeling blue, a little down, I'm going to come back and look at my own little *Happy Card* and surely that would bring a smile to my face.

What kind of things are on your happy card?

Tell me.

Love,
Me
