My birthday was in September. I knew exactly what I wanted this year.
This device is amazing! I absolutely love it! I can transfer all my albums and cassettes to CD! It also has AM/FM radio. (Plus its pretty!)
We have decided to start cutting back on our bad eating habits.
More vegetables and less of the above. Even tho I LOVE Old Chicago!!
In other Peebly farm news, this character below is causing quite a commotion. He has a really bad attitude and will stalk and attack people and dogs!!
This rooster was a gift from my neighbor Brian. Brian is a super nice person and a TERRIFIC neighbor. He had no idea this little bird would grow up to be a big PAIN!
So we will see if he calms down a bit and becomes nicer. If not, he will be living at another house on Peebly.. Brians!!

Why yes! Yes it is....
And not only does this add extreme cuteness to the already adorable faces but it also keeps all the other animals safe from harm from an unruly game of head butt.
Oreo is sporting the look of camouflage. Being male he felt this was a safe bet to keep him from being ridiculed by the rest of the herd.
Of course that didn't work. Immediately the rest of the group began the eye rolls and snickers..
Momma on the other hand, being an adventurous sort, opted for the *when pigs fly* duct tape.
This is what you call an ounce of prevention.
Have a great weekend!!

This is what you three have been up to.
We went to the Great State Fair of Oklahoma.
It wasnt so great because it was extremely hot, but we made the most of it.
Addyson turned 6 and her Daddy turned 37. Me...well lets just say I had a birthday also.
You three are the most awesome kids ever..Each personality distinct and loving. Im thankful each and every day for you..
What I hope to do is write a little post every couple of months and include a picture of the three of them together in the same spot each time to document the changes..This is on our front porch. PaPa and Grandmas house on Peebly to the grands.

This is Emmas school list for the year. Yes, parents and grandparents are required to buy these items and they are requested to bring these to class the first day of school..
I think they are going to need some assistance in getting the items there.
Emmas List.........Third Grade
Dylans List.........................Fifth Grade
I have 3 more items to purchase today and then it is complete!!!
Our neighbors our very generous people. So generous in fact that they presented me with a *gift* this week.
Oreo is a male pygmy goat.
He is adorable!!
I think that my neighbors knew how sad I was when Rita passed away several weeks ago.
They also gave me a new rooster like this:
This is a Polish Chicken.
This is a European bird most noted for its crest if feathers. You cannot help but smile when you see this guy walking around . Every movement is exaggerated by the headdress. Hilarious!!
Whats new at your place?

Mickey and I took the three grands to Woolaroc over the weekend.
We started Saturday morning by stopping at Cracker Barrel in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The kids loved the gift shop there.
We then started our 3 hour trip to Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
That's right. 3 hours in the car with no source of entertainment except some books and crayons and singing 99 bottles of beer. It was GREAT!!
Once we arrived we drove immediately to see the mountain man camp. These guys are serious history buffs. They live the part.
Here is Emma getting her turn at shooting a bow and arrow.
This is the camp .
You find buffalo roaming freely.
We had a really nice time touring the museum, lodge and grounds.
It was worth the trip.
School starts next week.
That's what we've been up to.
